Having embarked on a career as a registered naval architect, René van der Velden soon gained a reputation as an exterior and interior designer with a difference. Mastering all these disciplines places the studio that bears his name in an ideal position to ensure coherent design and control quality. René has also been a keen sailor since he was 12 and has designed his personal sailing yachts since 2007.
